Girlhood, Growth + Good Coffee
How solo travel and lifelong friendships have been filling my soul lately.

Hi friends!
Solo travel has been a total unlock for me. I’ve been in a relationship for a decade this September, and we love doing life together—whether it's running errands, grabbing dinner, or hanging out with friends, we’re pretty much attached at the hip. But when we took some time apart before buying our home, that space gave us both a much-needed reset. It reminded us how important it is to spend time alone and nurture our individual friendships. It’s not just good for us—it’s essential for having a healthy, thriving relationship with each other and with ourselves.
Now that we’ve shared our home for a year (and are currently navigating “tiny home” living after Hurricane Helene—read more on that here), we’ve realized we’ve slipped back into old habits. So we’re making it a point to be intentional about carving out solo time and staying connected to our friends, too.
This past week, I took a solo trip for work to Palm Beach, followed by a visit to see a close friend in New York, and I couldn’t be happier. The time and space to think, write, be creative, and connect with others left me recharged and deeply inspired.
Sometimes stepping away is the very thing that brings you closer. I’m feeling grounded, clear, and genuinely excited to be home and catch up with Daniel—with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of self.
A WEEKEND IN THE CATSKILLS
This past weekend, I flew up to New York to visit and catch up with my lifelong friend, Ali. As I write this on my flight home, I can honestly say my heart feels full and my spirit deeply refreshed. I’m so grateful to have a friend who has stayed close through so many seasons of life. We stayed at Scribner’s Lodge in the Catskills and had the best time. The weather was perfect, we woke up and did yoga each morning, and ended every night laughing.
Our Itinerary:
Morning Yoga at the @ScribnersLodge Rounds
@HelloFellowCafe for coffee, pastries and sunshine
Hike to Kaaterskills Falls
Lunch at @HunterMountianBrewery
Dinner at @UrbanCowboyLodge
Drive through Woodstock, visit @SharkieMeatballs

MY WEEKLY PICKS
I’m so easily influenced—and I don’t mean online! Nearly every makeup tip or fashion find I love has come from the girlies in my life. My friend Ali has such a great sense of style, and after spending the weekend with her, let’s just say my cart (& heart) is full. Here are a few things she inspired me to add to checkout...
READ OR LISTEN OF THE WEEK

BRAND HIGHLIGHT: BRAUN IPL
I’m obsessed!! After trying in-salon laser hair removal, I can honestly say this at-home device is a total game-changer. Being able to do touch-ups from home and a hell of a deal? Life-changing.
See ya next week,
xx
