Hi friends!
I wasn’t invited to an event! Or so I thought….a really cool brand came to Tampa and I was a little bummed when I saw I wasn’t invited. I attend a lot of community and brand events here, and this is one I thought I would be considered for. I asked myself, why wasn’t I scouted, selected or invited? Was it my SEO? My style of content? Did someone in Tampa host this and do they not like me? 😪 Is it difficult to know I am Tampa based since I also share travel content? I searched the corners of my mind and investigated…all the way to my instagram message request inbox. Where I came across an invitation, from a week ago. And it dawned on me, this is everything I am working toward. Brands (local and global) use instagram to contact and collab with creators all the time, energy and resources are spent to reach creators and events depend on it. I created Social Curation Collabs for this exact reason, so creators and brands wouldn’t miss each other.
